NBC comedy Truth Be Told claimed ,

2.6 MILLION same-day viewers for Friday’s opener, less than half of ABC’s competing Dr. Ken (5.8 MILLION). CW’s Monday duo of

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (899,000) and Jane the Virgin (1.1 MILLION) were also low. NBC’s Chicago Fire returned

Tuesday with 7.4 MILLION, down from last fall’s 9.2 million.

DEMS DEBATE

The main portion of the first debate among Democratic presidenti­al candidates netted CNN a record

15.8 MILLION viewers Tuesday, still 8 million shy of earlier GOP debates on Fox News.

FX’s Fargo claimed 1.6 MILLION viewers for Monday’s second-season premiere. Elsewhere, new seasons of Cinemax’s The Knick (269,000 Friday), WGN America’s Manhattan

(265,000 Tuesday) and Comedy

Central’s Nathan for You (225,000 Thursday) opened modestly in same-day viewing.
