Clinton emails resurface as major issue in hearing

-

FACEBOOK FACEBOOK.COM/ USATODAYOPINION Former secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify Thursday before the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

This is the main problem: Hillary Clinton didn’t give all her emails to the House committee. She has been dribbling them out. These actions are part of another game involving an individual named Clinton playing with the facts. She is hiding something; otherwise, she would not have deleted 30,000 emails.

This is the eighth congressional investigation into the attack on Sept. 11, 2012, that killed four Americans. I don’t remember this level of scrutiny during the 9/11 Commission. Then again, that was looking into what actually happened; it was not some political witch hunt.

I hope the committee has had enough time to review recently released emails to ask the right questions of Hillary Clinton under oath. I would not be surprised if Clinton starts invoking the Fifth Amendment to avoid prosecution. This inquiry is about Benghazi, and only about Benghazi. She is likely to face future investigations.

How much more money are we going to spend on pointless investigations on this issue by people willing to use a few dead Americans as pawns to take jabs at Clinton before the election?
