BLACKHAWKS ACQUIRE LADD

-

The Chicago Blackhawks have reacquired forward Andrew Ladd in a trade with the Winnipeg Jets. The 30-year-old had 17 goals and 17 assists in 59 games for Winnipeg this season. He previously played for Chicago for two-plus seasons, helping the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in 2010. The Blackhawks sent two draft picks and prospect Marko Dano to Winnipeg for Ladd, forward Matt Fraser and defenseman Jay Harrison. Fraser and Harrison will report to Rockford in the AHL. Dano, a 21-year-old forward, was considered one of Chicago’s top prospects.
