REPORT: MINNESOTA PLAYERS PUNISHED FOR ILLICIT VIDEO

-

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press three Minnesota men’s basketball players were suspended after an illicit video appeared on one of their social media accounts. The person says the three are not under investigation for any criminal charges. The person spoke Monday to the AP on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. The clip was posted Friday on Kevin

Dorsey’s Instagram and Twitter feeds before being disabled about a half-hour later. Dorsey and fellow guards Nate Mason and Du

pree McBrayer were benched for Sunday’s loss at Illinois. A university statement, citing educa- tional data privacy, said Monday that additional information on the punishment will not be shared “at this time.”
