CHINO HILLS HOLDS ON TO NO. 1 IN BOYS SUPER 25

LiAngelo Ball had 34 points to lead Chino Hills to a 102-54 CIF Open Division playoff defeat of then-No. 22 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) as the Huskies improved to 30-0 and strengthened their hold on the No. 1 spot in the Super 25 boys basketball rankings. There are three new teams this week: No. 23 Apple Valley, Minn.; No. 24 Miller Grove (Lithonia, Ga.); and No. 25 Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, N.Y.).
