GUZAN ENDS TWO-MONTH PREMIER LEAGUE BENCHING
American goalkeeper Brad Gu
zan has started a Premier League match for the first time in almost two months. His benching ended with a start against Everton on Tuesday. Guzan had not started a league game for the last-place Villans since Jan. 2 at Sunderland. Everton beat Aston Villa 3-1. With Mark Bunn taking over as the No. 1 goalkeeper for seven league games, Guzan was limited to a pair of FA Cup appearances. Fellow American Tim Howard remained on the bench for Everton. Supplanted by Joel Robles, Howard has not played in any match since Jan. 24.
