Are people ruining the only planet they have?

-

I have to question the intelligence of a species that is willing to ruin where they live. Bruce Mort

Maybe we should eliminate half the human population. After all, it is more important to protect the Earth instead of people, isn't it? Better yet, why not get rid of all humans, and the planet should have no problems at all, right? Let's keep the Earth green at any costs even if man is not here to make use of it. Larry Hubble

Intelligently reduce the world's human population, or the world will do it for us. Nothing will stop this problem except a dramatic reduction in the human population and a more efficient average lifestyle. Dave Melges

Meanwhile, back in the real world, the Northeast sets cold temp records in May. John James

Put a cap on emissions. If a company can't maintain the cap, force the company to close. No fines, just close the company. Watch how many make sure they are under the cap! Bill Cain

I think that climate change is cyclical. When the glaciers melted from the ice age there weren’t cars and factories spewing CO2 but the ice still melted. John Johnson

We asked our readers their thoughts on the U.N. report saying global warming has grown worse.

Too bad half of America isn’t worried about global warming; they should be. @djbvida The U.N. is just looking for money. @winojanet The ideal woud be that people acknowledge these facts and dangers, and the real time damages to our environment. @MebarkiNarimene I trust the U.N. as much as I trust a tabloid magazine. @AntiFeminist85 The problem is meat production. Until that problem is curbed we will continue to have polluted air and water, and humans and animals will suffer. @rosie_loulou
