The greatest show in video games, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, plays out this week in Los Angeles — and a selection of streaming-video sites can virtually keep you in the loop on all the news.

Console makers such as Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony and bigname publishers such as Bethesda Softworks, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will be streaming events on their own websites, as well as being featured on Twitch and YouTube Gaming.

The show, which runs through Thursday, attracts more than 50,000 attendees. But millions more follow along online.

Last year, more than 21 million unique viewers watched E3 content on Twitch, and 8 million viewers watched via YouTube Gaming. YouTube’s plans this year include 12 hours of coverage Monday, hosted by longtime video game journalist Geoff Keighley.
