BOYKIN PLEADS NO CONTEST

vone Boykin pleaded no contest to resisting arrest over an incident that led to his suspension for his final college game in the Alamo Bowl. The Bexar County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office said Thursday that Boykin received one year of probation that could result in dismissal of the misdemeanor charge. Boykin, 22, was fined $1,500 and ordered to apologize to the arresting officer.
