UCLA PUNTER WON’T FACE SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES
UCLA punter Adam Searl won’t face criminal charges over allegations that he sexually assaulted two women. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said there was a lack of evidence to support allegations that Searl raped a woman who had become intoxicated and blacked out after a party in 2014 and that he groped another woman at a party earlier that year. Searl was arrested in October. Searl’s lawyer,
Mark Hathaway, said Searl was happy to have his name cleared. He has been attending classes and was reinstated for the Bruins’ spring practice.
