HIGH SCHOOL STREAKS END

The nation’s two longest active boys basketball winning streaks ended on the same night Saturday. Kentwood (Wash.) beat Federal Way 69-59 to end Federal Way’s 63-game winning streak, which was the nation’s longest. Federal Way’s last loss was to Bellevue on Jan. 19, 2015. Meanwhile, in the Nike Extravagan­za in Santa Ana, Calif., Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) beat Chino Hills (Calif.), 96-91 to end Chino Hills’ 60-game winning streak. The streak was the third longest in California and six from the state record held by Compton.
