FLA. STATE ROUTS CLEMSON

From first tip to the final buzzer, No. 16 Florida State dominated Clemson. The Seminoles took the 109-61 victory in front of 10,868 fans at Tucker Civic Center. The 48-point victory was the largest for FSU against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since it joined the league in 1992. The next highest was a 36-point vic- tory against Virginia in 1994. There wasn’t much FSU couldn’t do in the first half, taking a dominating 51-25 lead into the locker room. Dwayne Bacon led all scorers with 29 points, but 11 players scored for the Seminoles in the first half.
