TERRORISM On human rights, Egypt’s president beats ISIS

FACEBOOK FACEBOOK.COM/ USATODAYOP­INION President Trump’s meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi may represent a strong signal that Trump is making counterter­rorism a top priority — even if it comes at the expense of human rights in the region.

I will take Sisi any day over ISIS terrorists running rampant throughout the region. And ISIS has a far worse record of human rights, as far I am concerned. Sisi pledged to keep the Israel peace treaty in effect, and he has been a solid ally of the U.S. now for years. Christophe­r Dunn
