James Comey’s dismissal reeks of Russian coverup

- LETTERS LETTERS@USATODAY.COM

President Trump’s firing of FBI Director

James Comey for his “unfair” treatment of Hillary Clinton’s case could be a smokescreen. He may have just wanted to remove Comey because he was leading an investigation to determine whether Trump’s campaign associates conspired with Russia to interfere with the U.S. presidential election. Whatever the reason may be for Comey’s dismissal, it is indeed a “ding-dong the witch is dead” moment for Hillary Clinton. JoAnn Lee Frank Clearwater, Fla.

middle of an investigation of Russian connections with President Trump’s campaign, has the president crossed the line into obstruction of justice? If so, we may be seeing the seeds for impeachment of Trump. Robert Tormey Escondido, Calif.
