‘Donald Trump is the king of the witch hunts’

After President Trump sent out a statement accepting the appointment of a special counsel in the Russia investigation, he took to Twitter to denounce the investigation as the biggest “witch hunt” in political history.

Trump is the king of the witch hunts! He carried one out for both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Trump himself taught us how to do a witch hunt well.

How can you argue with Trump’s claim of a “witch hunt”? Those on the left have been out to get Trump since the night he was elected. Trump was elected and he’s the president now. It’s time for liberals to get over it. You don’t have to like or agree with him, but you better just accept the fact that Trump’s our president and respect him. Brian Newton

These leaks to the press have been coming out of the White House. You can’t blame the news media or Democrats when Trump has a loyalty problem. Either Trump is an awful boss or this administration has bad judgment in picking staff members. It’s likely that Trump will always have problems with staff stabbing him in the back. Democrats are so obsessed with destroying the Trump presidency they couldn’t care less about the Americans who elected them. How about they do their jobs for a change instead of carrying out this witch hunt?

This is just more Washington elites who think Americans work for them. This is the mentality Trump is trying to change and Democrats — and some Republicans — are more worried about the upcoming midterm elections and having something to bolster their standing than they are about the American people.
