Attorney General Jeff Sessions testified publicly on Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Sessions is a good and honorable man who has served his country with distinction for decades. It’s not right to question a man’s word simply because you don’t like his politics.

Sessions announced that he couldn’t recall whether or not he could or could not actually recall any of the facts he failed to recall.

Sessions supplied what seemed to be an honest retelling of a story: why he recused himself, the timeline of the events, and tried to honestly tell the story of his prior “meetings” with the Russian ambassador. He, like prior attorney generals, chose to protect private conversations with President Trump until his boss opened that con-

stitutional door. As to his “forgetfulness” about prior non-meetings, to me it’s understandable he “can’t recall” if he shook hands with someone at a general event months before.

Edwin Wilson

Sessions transparent? He basically kept saying he couldn’t recall anything. If his memory is that bad maybe he shouldn’t be the attorney general.

Peter Jeter

There is no evidence of any colluding from the Trump campaign with the Russian government to hack the election. It’s all a smokescreen from Democrats to avoid a reckoning for their election loss and to delegitimize a president they hate.

Mark Horn

This entire Russian investigation is much ado about nothing, and a waste of taxpayers’ money. Either present the evidence proving Trump and his team did something wrong or go away! There is way too much work that needs to be addressed in this country to waste it on this.
