CRITIC’S CORNER
WYNONNA EARP SYFY, FRIDAY, 10 ET/PT
The delightful series concludes its second season tonight. Wynonna Earp is a fun romp that balances its supernatural elements with strong character drama, and the back half of the second season has been particularly compelling. In the finale, Wynonna, the mystically gifted descendant of Wyatt Earp, is back after an ill-advised wish wiped her from existence in last week’s episode. Now that she has returned to the town of Purgatory, she has to deal with the Widows, demonic villains who just resurrected their even more demonic husband. And she just went into labor.
