FRIDAY Narcos

(Netflix): With Pablo Escobar off the game board, the DEA sets its sights on the Cali Cartel in Season 3.

SEPT. 8

One Mississipp­i (Amazon):

Season 2 finds Tig (Tig Notaro) back in Bay Saint Lucille, living with her stepfather (John Rothman) and brother (Noah Harpster) and working at a radio station in Biloxi, where her views don’t quite mesh with those of her new audience.

BoJack Horseman (Netflix):

BoJack was in a bad way when we last saw him, coming close to committing suicide. Will our favorite equine actor be able to rebound in Season 4?

SEPT. 12

The Mindy Project (Hulu):

The sixth and final season begins after a cliffhange­r in which Mindy (Mindy Kaling) decided to marry Ben (Bryan Greenberg). Just keep in mind that her ex, Danny (Chris Messina), is coming back for a multiepiso­de arc.

SEPT. 15 American Vandal (Netflix):

The true-crime genre gets its comeuppanc­e in this mockumenta­ry, which investigat­es who drew phallic symbols on the cars of 27 high school teachers and seeks to clear the prime suspect.

SEPT. 16

Are You Being Served? Again! (Britbox):

In this spinoff of the long-running English sitcom, former Grace Brothers department store employees Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden) and Mr. Humphries (John Inman) learn their late boss invested their pensions in a country estate. Since they aren’t allowed to sell it, they decide to turn it into an inn.

SEPT. 18

The Commander (Acorn):

Watch the crime drama featuring Amanda Burton as the decidedly flawed leader of a team of London homicide detectives. Keep an eye out for Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville.

The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee host returns to the Comic Strip, where his stand-up career started, armed with every joke he has written since 1975.

Wonder Woman (OnDemand):

Was the blockbuste­r reboot, as Terminator director James Cameron recently said, a step backward for strong female leads because its star Gal Gadot is a beauty icon? Decide for yourself in the comfort of your own home.

SEPT. 22 Transparen­t (Amazon):

The Pfefferman family joins Maura (Emmy winner Jeffrey Tambor) for a trip to Israel in Season 4.

Gaga: Five Foot Two (Netflix):

This intense documentar­y fol- lows Lady Gaga over an eightmonth period filled with ups and downs in her life and career.

SEPT. 28 Startup (Crackle):

Ron Perlman joins the cast as a wealthy businessma­n recruited to help GenCoin stay financiall­y afloat — and ideally at least one step ahead of crooked FBI agent Phil Rask (Martin Freeman).

Our Souls at Night (Netflix):

Jane Fonda and Robert Redford share the screen for the first time since 1979 as widowed spouses living in the same Colorado town. Based on the Kent Haruf novel and adapted by the screenwrit­ers behind The Fault in Our Stars.

SEPT. 30

Doctor Who: Power of the Daleks (Britbox):

A team of animators restored the missing chunk of the original series’ fourth season, featuring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor.
