London needs sympathy, not our condemnation

After a terror attack on the London Underground, President Trump set off another spat with the United Kingdom with tweets that appeared to blame British security for the fifth attack this year.
British security really doesn’t need commentary from across the pond to help them do their jobs. True to form, Trump shoots first and aims later. He is ever ready to offer unsolicited opinions on terrorism and its antiimmigration remedy.
Trump could have instead more appropriately sent condolences and well wishes to everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence on behalf of the American people. The British gumshoes don’t need our president sticking gum under their shoes. Peter Fonseca
