Republicans are all talk, no action on health care

After another health care defeat, President Trump said Wednesday he will begin negotiating with Democrats on legislation that can replace the Affordable Care Act.
A smart Republican voter will now realize that all prior GOP repeal votes during the Obama administration were merely done for theatrics.
They’ll realize that the GOP has no ideas nor interest in improving the health care system. And the smart GOP voters will realize that Trump was blowing hot air during the campaign when promising everyone coverage that will be cheaper, and “you won’t believe how easy it will be.” Tom Kane
Trump keeps coming back to the pond. He needs to realize that he’s not going to get his “brand” on the bill unless it retains most of the Affordable care Act provisions.
He might get to call it the Trump-Obama Health Care Act, and then have Sen. Rand Paul go crazy.
Of course, Trump’s choice is to cut off the Medicaid reimbursements and see hundreds of thousands of people predominantly in states he won during the election lose coverage. Ketembe Lawe Gurah
After eight years of having no practical ideas to improve health care, maybe Republicans should try the obvious: Fix the system that is already in place for the betterment of all of our citizens with the help of Democrats. Or does that make too much sense? K.M. Schulten
