Pence makes surprise visit to Afghanistan for war meetings

Vice President Pence made an unannounced trip to Afghanistan on Thursday to meet with Afghan leaders and visit U.S. troops. Pence landed at Bagram Air Base, then met with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. He returned to the base to address U.S. troops.
