Brooks’ ‘All Day Long’
Garth Brooks’ new honky-tonk party anthem “All Day Long” is here.
Co-written by Brooks and frequent collaborators Mitch Rossell and Bryan Kennedy, “All Day Long” is the first song from the singer’s new studio album, due next year.
Brooks’ distinct voice is instantly recognizable, then bolstered by the familiar combination of fiddle, steel and electric guitar — the song a fresh but welcome rewind to the hard-driving, blue-collar country Brooks popularized in the ’90s.
“The new music feels good,” Brooks said on his Facebook Live series “Inside Studio G.”
“It sounds brand new, but it’s very old-school. It’s going to be upbeat. It’s fun. It’s a little summer, man. Let’s turn it up, and have some fun.”
“All Day Long” is the rollicking follow-up to the singer’s most recent No. 1 hit, “Ask Me How I Know.”
