Keuning’s ‘Restless Legs’

-

Killers guitarist Dave Keuning unveiled plans last week for his debut solo album.

Keuning, co-founder of the beloved “Mr. Brightside” rock group, on Friday premiered “Restless Legs,” the first single from his upcoming solo studio debut, “Prismism.”

The song comes laced in Keuning’s brand of synth-and-guitar new wave rock. It features Keuning on vocals, singing “Always on the move/You’re in and out of love/Never see it coming now.”

On the new project, Keuning told the Des Moines Register: “I just had all these songs in me that I really wanted to do something with. I’ve had a lot of ideas over the years that maybe didn’t make it to Killers records or songs I thought that wouldn’t fit on Killers records. “The album I made was just pure fun.”

The 14-track “Prismism” drops Jan. 25.
