The comedian’s attempted comeback isn’t going smoothly. On Monday, C.K., who is going back to work after admitting to sexual misconduct with five women, returned to New York City’s famed Comedy Cellar for his third post-scandal performance, and a handful of protesters descended on the club to greet him. They held signs with slogans like “Does this sign make you uncomfortable, Louie?” and “When you support Louis C.K., you tell women your laughter is more important than their sexual assaults and loss of their careers.”
