A new documentary celebrating Prince Charles’ 70th birthday reportedly conveys how a special moment for the royal and his new daughter-inlaw, Duchess Meghan, came about: It describes how Prince Harry asked his father to walk Meghan down the aisle. Harry says in the BBC doc, “Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70,” that he was the one who approached his father, according to E! News and People magazine. “I asked him to, and I think he knew it was coming,” Harry says. “And he immediately said, ‘Yes, of course, I’ll do whatever Meghan needs and I’m here to support you.’ ” Charles filled in for Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, who was not able to attend.
