MAKING WAVES RANIA YOUSSEF

-

Egyptian actress Rania Youssef has been charged with public obscenity for wearing a revealing black gown at the closing ceremony of Cairo International Film Festival last week. The dress featured a black bodysuit covered in a sheer, beaded overlay that showcased her legs. After images of her red-carpet attire made waves, a lawsuit was filed against the actress, accusing her of “inciting debauchery.” Youssef acknowledged the flap on her social media accounts, saying she didn’t mean to offend anyone, but the charge could land her in prison for five years if she’s convicted.
