Putin warns that if US develops banned missiles, so will Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the United States on Wednesday that if it walks out of an arms treaty and starts developing missiles banned by the pact, Russia will do the same. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced at a NATO meeting Tuesday that Washington will suspend its obligations under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in 60 days, citing Russian “cheating.”
