Former Attorney General Barr a contender to replace Sessions

Barr is a leading candidate to become President Donald Trump’s replacement for ousted Attorney General Jeff Sessions, two administration officials and a person familiar with the discussion told USA TODAY. They said no decision has been made, but an announcement could come within days.
