At least 5 Houston police officers injured in shooting, officials say
Officials say at least five Houston police officers have been wounded in a shooting. They say the officers were “struck with gunfire following an encounter with a suspect” Monday afternoon in southeast Houston. The incident occurred during the serving of a warrant, sources told the Houston Chronicle.
“One suspect was reported dead at the scene and another was barricaded at the scene,” the Chronicle reported, citing the Houston Police Department.
