The “Trainwreck” actress wrote a lengthy tribute to the women who helped her throughout her rough pregnancy and called it a “post baby annoying post” on Instagram. She’s shown cuddling her newborn, Gene, and praises her birthing team and her doula with helping her and husband Chris Fischer. What does a doula do? “I don’t totally know,” she said. “But what she did was make me and Chris feel totally secure throughout my pregnancy and the birth process.” Schumer then pulled out the lens, to hail the strength of women everywhere. “Women are the (expletive),” she said. “Men are cool and whatever, but women are (expletive) warriors and capable of anything.”
