Walmart is launching free next-day delivery – without a membership fee – in select markets. Walmart announced Tuesday it is adding free “NextDay” delivery in Phoenix and Las Vegas before expanding the service to Southern California. The free NextDay delivery is available on eligible orders of more than $35 and up to 220,000 frequently-purchased items. “It will roll out gradually over the coming months, with a plan to reach approximately 75% of the U.S. population this year,” said Marc Lore, Walmart eCommerce U.S. president and CEO, in a blog post.
