Here are the top moments you missed.

The People’s Choice Awards aired Sunday night – and yes, the people made some choices.

The show honored everyone from Zendaya to Blake Shelton and gave us performances from Alessia Cara and Kelsea Ballerini. The awards show also made a point of highlighting the impact women had this year on pop culture, sports and politics with a powerful intro from soccer star Alex Morgan.

As with most awards shows, however, the night didn’t go off without a hitch. Designer Jeremy Scott struggled with teleprompter issues when introducing Gwen Stefani and Noah Centineo’s philosophical speech left us scratching our heads. But moments like the contagious camaraderie between pals Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston made up for it.

Here’s a look at the biggest moments you missed during the show.

Robert Downey Jr.’s intro falls flat

The “Avengers: Endgame” star took the stage first and kicked off the night with seemingly random jabs at the industry-centric award shows before introducing the Comedy Act of 2019.

“I think it’s important for us industry types to remember who we actually work for, the audience,” he said. “Oh, lest we forget.”

During his presentation, Downey also discussed his character’s fate in “Endgame” and used his time on stage to give an extended shout out to his new project, “Dolittle.”

Kevin Hart makes first appearance since car crash

Hart returned to the stage for his first major appearance since a car crash left him badly injured several months ago.

Downey awarded Hart the trophy for Comedy Act of 2019, and the comedian received a standing ovation as he took the stage to accept the award.

“First and foremost thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here,”

Hart said. “Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life more.”

Gwen Stefani speech honors family’s legacy

“Blake Shelton, look! Icon!” Stefani started her speech, calling out her boyfriend. She spoke about her family’s legacy of fashion – specifically, making clothes themselves.

“I used to hate fashion ... ‘That’s for the rich people. You can’t get those clothes! I’m just gonna go to the thrift store and make my own thing!’ And that’s what I did my whole life and now here I am with this award.”

Shelton won for Country Artist of 2019. He said, “I’m really glad I won this because I was the only person at my table who hasn’t won anything tonight.”
