WEEKLY UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS RISE SLIGHTLY

The number of Americans filing for unemployment rose slightly in the week ending Feb.15. Seasonally adjusted initial claims numbered 210,000, an increase of 4,000 from the week before, the Labor Department said. But the labor market remained strong with the 4-week average of 209,000, the lowest figure since April 2019.
