MICHAEL B. JORDAN
Michael B. Jordan showed his support for the Black Lives Matter movement by turning out for a protest in Los Angeles on Saturday. The “Just Mercy” star spoke up at the march, urging protesters to vote and Hollywood to commit to hiring black talent. “What we are doing today will make our voices heard and our values heard,” he told the crowd. “We can’t be complacent. We can’t let this moment just pass us by, we have to continue to put our foot on their necks.” The star was referencing George Floyd, the 46-year-old black man who died in Minneapolis after a police officer knelt on his neck as he gasped, “Please, I can’t breathe!”
