FEDEX AIMS TO BE CARBON-NEUTRAL BY 2040

FedEx is committing to reach carbonneutral operations by 2040, aided in part by replacing its entire pickup and delivery fleet with zero-emission electric vehicles, the Memphis-based company announced Wednesday. FedEx, which uses more than 200,000 motorized vehicles and 680 cargo aircraft in its global delivery network, said it would put in an initial investment of more than $2 billion to help achieve the goal.
