MAKING WAVES MONROE CANNON
Mariah Carey’s daughter is hitting a high note with her modeling debut. Monroe Cannon, whom the “We Belong Together” singer shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, stars in the latest campaign for the children’s fashion brand OshKosh B’gosh. In the back-to-school commercial, Monroe, 10, wears classic denim overalls with a black T-shirt underneath as she writes music, practices her whistle tones in the mirror while holding her ear, dances and poses like a diva to resemble a young version of her popstar mother. The campaign, titled “Today Is Someday,” also features child-sized vignettes of other notable names such as Outkast and Muhammad Ali to encourage young minds to “dream boldly about who they’ll become someday,” according to the news release.
