DIANA AND CHARLES’ CAKE
A piece of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding cake can be yours. The slice, from one of 23 cakes prepared to celebrate their 1981 nuptials, will be auctioned off Aug. 11. Moyra Smith, a member of the Clarence House household, held on to the serving, which a collector snatched up in 2008. The cake, along with programs from the event, is expected to sell for 300 to 500 pounds ($418 to $697), The Associated Press reports.
