MAKING WAVES ‘ARTHUR’
The final new episodes of the PBS Kids animated series “Arthur” will air early next year, bringing the show to a close after an unprecedented 25-season run. The show’s producer confirmed the cancellation of the series, which centers on a young aardvark and his family and friends, in a statement obtained by USA TODAY. “In the winter of 2022, the 25th and final season of ‘Arthur’ will debut,” executive producer Carol Greenwald said. “‘Arthur’ will continue to be available on PBS KIDS for years to come.”
