Cary Elwes is recovering after he was bitten by a rattlesnake. “The Princess Bride” actor suffered an inconceivably discolored and swollen finger, he shared Monday on Instagram. Elwes, 59, joked that he was not bitten by the beasts in “Princess Bride” which are called ROUS (Rodents of Unusual Size). “Bit not by a ROUS but a rattlesnake. Grateful to the staff of Malibu Urgent Care, LA County Fire Dept. and the staff and medical professionals at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for their great care,” he wrote. “Am recovering well thanks to all these wonderful folks.”
