This year, Americans should prepare to see the highest gas prices ever over Thanksgiving weekend – but that’s not deterring nearly 49 million from still hitting the road. On Thanksgiving Day, the national average for gas is projected to be $3.68 per gallon – about 20 cents higher than last year’s Thanksgiving.
