White House talks turkey at pardoning ceremony
President Joe Biden will hold a pardoning ceremony Monday for the National Thanksgiving Turkey. The turkey and its alternate were raised at Circle S Ranch in Monroe, North Carolina. After the ceremony, the birds will be housed at North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The White House did not announce the name of the turkey or its alternate. Last year, Biden pardoned two turkeys: Peanut Butter and Jelly. The National Thanksgiving Turkey is a 75-year tradition.
