A senior from Colorado Springs, Colo., Quinones led the nation in both rushing yards per game (150) and allpurpose yards per game (210) this season. Despite missing two games to injury, Quinones racked up 1198 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns and 1678 all-purpose yards during the 2019 campaign – helping VCSU to a 7-3 overall record.

The AFCA NAIA Coaches’ All-America Teams feature two running backs on the First Team and two more on the Second Team. Quinones was one of five running backs named Honorable Mention AllAmerican. The AFCA NAIA All-America Teams are chosen exclusively by coaches.

Honorable Mention All-American is just the latest accolade for Quinones, who was also named First Team AllConference as a running back and Second Team All-Conference as a returner. He achieved All-Conference as both a running back and returner in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

Quinones also broke the VCSU career rushing record this season and tied the school record for rushing touchdowns, finishing his Viking career with 3530 rushing yards and 36 rushing touchdowns.
