Letter To The Editor

-

To the editor: Twice a year we move our clocks, in the fall, the media tells us that we will get another hour of sleep! ! ! Now that is fake news! ! Maybe the bum's and well care recipients will, but then, more than likely, they don't have to punch a clock!

The last time that I ran for county commissioner, I campaigned on working to leave the clocks one way or the other. Needless to say I never got elected and this year the time change was on my birthday!!! What a slap in my face when I have been trying to get our elected ( even on capitol hill) to leave the clocks alone, but the above mentioned (it appears) likes to give the masses stress. And that is all the time change is, is STRESS!! Absolutely no intelligence behind it, this day and age, with batteries that last indefinitely. The sun comes up and goes down PERIOD!! (well we don't see much sun anymore!)

As a certified organic farmer for 23 years, we needed the sun much more than chemical farmers. Now with the lack of so much sunshine---! have often said, when the sun is not working, the chemicals are!

We humans all need chemical free and healthy food. Like gas motors will not run long on diesel---humans won't run long on chemical food.

I wrote a column for the TR for two years, writing once a month predicting what the weather would do six weeks down the road. From the launch of a rocket!!

It was reported that North Korea rocketed off with two more rockets and that was the 12th set of rockets since this May!! So in five months they put up twelve rockets!! Is it any wonder why the United States has had one horrible storm after another!!! On March 6th of 2017 North Korea put up four rockets simultaneously!! After April 19th we had horrible weather from Oklahoma to New York!! Come on people, you just have to start saying something about rocketry or enjoy your chemical food.

There are two things sacred in this life, one is the atmosphere, because we all live under and around the weather and two, is the clock, because most of us punch a clock. Milo Buchholz Fingal, ND
