*Dacotah Bank Community Gift Tree is accepting gift donations for children ages infant through high school. Gift wrap your donation and label with age and for a boy or girl. Please deliver gifts to Dacotah Bank by December 18th.

*Wildside Bakery sent out a message…Effective Nov. 10th we will only be offering carry out, curbside pickup or delivery due to the Covid-19 restrictions imposed by the City of Valley City. *The DMV is providing title work by appointment from 9AM-11AM and 12PM-3PM. Renewals can be done via phone. If you need services outside of that time frame, please call the DMV at 701-845-3812. You can schedule appointments online at dot.nd.gov.

*Barnes County Courthouse, Barnes County Highway Department and all other County Offices will be locked due to rising Covid cases. All offices will be seeing people by appointment as before when the doors were locked.

*The Drivers License Division is currently traveling to Valley City the first and third Wednesday of each month. Services are available by appointment only by going online to dot.nd.gov or calling 1-855-633-6835.

*Toys for Tots Information: Deadline to sign up is Nov. 13th at the social service office in the courthouse. Please use the outside drop box or mail if you can. Give Away Date Dec. 12th Jamestown, ND You will be notified of a time. Toys will be picked out for you and brought to your car. Toys for Tots is a program run by the Marines Core Reserve, for children under 18 years of age, to ensure every child receives a gift for Christmas. To qualify for the program, one must have a financial hardship, loss of job, recent death, or other hardship. Must live in Barnes County to sign up here. *Valley City Mass COVID-19 Testing: City County Health District will be conducting Mass testing from 1-2 pm on Monday’s in the Winter Show Parking Lot. Call City County Health at 701845-8518 with questions or for more information.

UPCOMING EVENTS: • November 2nd-December 11th: VCHS HiLiner Pantry food drive collection will be held from November 2nd through December 11th with Bridge City Dentistry donating a new toothbrush for every items collected from their patients. Help them stock the Hi-Liner Pantry before the Christmas holiday break. For more information call 701845-0483.

Now Through November 23rd: Puklich Chevrolet Buick GMC in Valley City are asking for your help to “Drive Away Hunger”. Now through Monday, November 23rd, just drop off any non-perishable food item at Puklich Chevrolet Buick GMC, located at 721 West Main Street. All donations will go to the Barnes County Food Pantry.

• Sunday, November 15th: Valley City Tupperware Connection and Doreen’s Tupperware hosts a kid cooking event on Nov. 15th from 3-5 p.m. at Victorian Charm, 535 Central Avenue N., Valley City. • Tuesday, November 17th: SVFA Dog Park Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Valley City Eagles Club to discuss the best ways to move forward as a group to build a second dog park.
