Hi-Liner Wrestling: 8-0 in EDC

VCHS Hi-Liner wrestling team clinches the EDC Dual Championship with a 39-25 dual win over West Fargo.

The Hi-Liner train kept rolling by capping off the day with a come behind win of 37-36 over Thief River Falls.

The team closed out the dual with 4 pins in a row to win.

Comments:

The West Fargo Dual was a good dual. The team wrestled pretty well winning 9 of 14 matches. Couple stand out wrestlers were Ethan Miller beating Cole Irwin 4-1. Jonah Schuldheisz also had a good win moving up a weight class to 220 and winning a close match 5-1 over Houston Visto.

Valley City is now 8-0 in the EDC.

Thief River Falls dual was also very exciting. After 10 matches Valley City was behind 36-13. In a streak of 4 pins in a row started by Koltyn Grebel, Koye Grebel, Tucker Johnson, and finished off by Logan Novara defeated Thief River Falls 37-36.

Thief River Falls is ranked #9 in MN 2A.

This was a good dual to have on our schedule and wrestle a tough school to prepare for the tough matches ahead. Stats:
