WEEKLY ONGOING EVENTS/REMINDERS:
*St. Catherine Quilters make quilts for those in need, meeting every Thursday from 1-4:30 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. in the basement gym of St. Catherine School. All are welcome, no experience necessary and supplies are provided. Questions call Christine 701-840-2580 or Lela 701845-8352.
*Valley City DMV Department and all State DMV Departments will be upgrading our computer system May 4th-8th. Motor vehicle offices will be closed for in-person services from May 5-8. Driver license office closures will be May 6-8. Online services, including kiosks, will be unavailable from May 4-8. Appointments for title work must be scheduled on dot. nd.gov or by calling our local office 701-845-3812.
* VC Transfer Station will open Saturday’s starting May 7th through October 31st from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Grass site area is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Any quesions please call 701-845-0314.
*Valley City Park & Recreation 2022 Summer Guides are available with all sports/activities for the 2022 summer fun. Stop into the Gaukler Center to pick up yours or call 701845-3294. Guides are also available online at www. vcparks.com
*AA Fellowship Corner Meeting Schedule: Monday 8 p.m., Tuesday 6 p.m., Wednesday noon, Friday noon, Saturday 8 p.m. NA meets on Wednesday’s at 7 p.m. at Fellowship Corner. For more information call 701-845-3705. The meetings are held at 320 2nd Ave SE in Valley City.
*Barnes County Museum, is open and welcoming visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. The museum is located at 315 Central Ave N, Valley City. Call Wes at 701-845-0966 for tour and additional information.

Fri., May 6
• The Bisonette Dance Team will host an alumni volleyball-basketball game on Fri., May 6th, 6:30 p.m., at the Barnes County North School. • VC Public Works and City Hall Awards banquet will be held on Friday, May 6th, starting at 5 p.m. at the Valley City Eagles Club.
• Barnes County Senior Center meals and activities: chili, cornbread, coleslaw, pears. Bone Builders Exercise 9:30 a.m.; bingo 1 p.m.
• VCSU Department of Music presents Spring Concert featuring concert Choir & Commercial Music Ensemble on May 6th, 7:30 p.m., in the Center for the Arts Performance Hall on VCSU Campus. The event is free with public welcomed to attend.

• VCBC Public Library activities: 2:30 p.m. Beginner’s Crochet.
• Indoor Cornhole Tournament will be held at the Eagles Club on May 7th with registration at 11 a.m. and noon start.
• Barnes County Senior Center meals and activities: Tuna fish on croissant, macaroni salad, chips, cookie.
Sun., May 8
• Barnes County Senior Center meals and activities: Happy Mother’s Day stuffed pork chop, mashed potatoes & gravy, dinner roll, corn, white cake.
