• VCBC Public Library Activities: 10 a.m. circle time; 10:30 a.m. story hour; 4 p.m. book club.

• Music in the Park:

FM Golden Notes New Horizons Band will entertain Wednesday, June 29th, 7:15 p.m. at the Bandshell in City Park. If the weather does not permit, performances will be in the VCSU Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public with a will donation taken and put towards the continued programs and restoration of the bandshell. • VCBC Public Library will be closd on Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day holiday.

• Barnes County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 for Independence Day. Sheriff and Barnes County Jail will remain staffed.

Tues., July 5

• VCBC Public Library activities: 2 p.m. movie showing “Lilo & Stitch.” 5 p.m. sticker art story.

Wed., July 6

• Music in the Park:

Michaih Studio of Ballet… dance by local youth dancers in her program will entertain Wednesday, July 6th, 7:15 p.m. at the Bandshell in City Park. If the weather does not permit, performances will be in the VCSU Arts Center. • Pioneer Park Amphitheater Series with host the Valley Voices and sing-a-long on Sunday, July 10th in Valley City, starting at 5:30 p.m. The events are free of charge and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
