Local Vietnam Veteran honored

Valley City State University Phil Alpha Theta History Club welcomes the community to honor Veteran’s Day by attending a special presentation featuring Dean Pedersen’s on November 9th.

Pedersen, a Vietnam who served from 1968 to 1969 held position as a M-60 machine gunner in the 2nd Platoon of Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade.

The VCSU History club will be hosting the event with Pedersen sharing his story with students, faculty and members of the community in the Skoal Room at the Memorial Student Center at 3 p.m., November 9th, on VCSU campus.

The event is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
