BARNES COUNTY BOOSTER BAND

The Barnes County Booster Band is drawn from five juvenile bands conducted by Mr. Davis in the rural districts and small towns adjacent to Valley City, North Dakota.

The director is a farmer living eighteen miles from Valley City, all but three of the little girls are farmers’ children, and it requires eighty miles of driving to assemble the group together before starting on a band engagement, however, this is one of the most active band organizations in the state.

Our tour this year will take us east to Milwaukee, while next year we plan on visiting Yellowstone National Park. We hope you enjoy our call and we cordially invite you at your earliest opportunity to visit Barnes County where common folks find contentment and happiness and a generous portion of the better things in life.
