Holger Vinicio Loor Jacome of Moorhead, Minn. pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, his first offense. He was ordered to pay $750 in fees/fines and had a 30-day jail term suspended.

Kelly Copeland of Sanborn pleaded guilty to possession of methamphet­amine, her second offense. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison, with credit for 11 days served.

Justin Gibson of Valley City pleaded guilty to child abuse, a victim under the age of six, suffering permanent loss or impairment, aggravated assault result in bodily injury with intent to a victim under 12-yearsold and two counts of child abuse to a victim under six-years-old (the victim was an infant), all felonies which got him sentenced to 10 years in prison, with credit for 290 days served. He will serve two years supervised probation upon release and must pay $560 in fees/fines.

Municipal Court

James Henderson Jr. pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and must pay $775 in fees/ fines and must undergo an alcohol evaluation and a year of unsupervis­ed probation.

Leonard Kjelland of Grand Forks pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and must pay $925 in fees/fines as well as complete 30 hours of community service in lieu of jail time.

Bradley Kumlin pleaded guilty to actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/ drugs, a misdemeano­r. He was given a fee/fine of $775 and had a 10day jail sentence suspended.

Joshua Lott of Valley City pleaded guilty to violations of registrati­on provisions ,an infraction, for which he was fined $475.

Joseph Rocha of Valley City pleaded guilty for driving while under a suspended/revoked license, for which he was given a fee/fine of $575.
